Back to Basics||
Name: Shoka
Age: Three cycles of the seasons
Gender: Female
Pack: Miro
Rank: Apprentice for Healer position ^^
Other: Over the years, her mind has soaked in the knowledge of many different plants and what their attributes can do for the body. Some would say that she can heal but it is only by the natural flora that is around.
Short personality description: Cheerful. Happy. Warm.
A Quick Glance in the Mirror||
Looks/Attributes: Unlike her brother, Shoka’s built is quite different, her frame is slender and her muscles tone but not as strong. Speed and gracefulness are her strengths, so most of the time she does not end up being on the battle field. She stands at thirty four inches from the shoulder down and holds a lighter weight of one hundred and twelve pounds. Her fur is a melting pot for the hues of white, light brown, and soft red. The female’s eyes hold a forever innocence about them that can captivate anyone as the sky blue hues that cover the top of the irises and gentle ice blue hues lays across the bottom.
The structure of her build was taken from her mother as well as her light and graceful steps, but her coat and eyes were taken from her father, or at least that is what John told the younger female when she asked about it. To carry such features from them is a wonderful thing for Shoka as to her that means that they will always be with her, no matter their location now.
Height: 34 inches
Weight: 112lbs
Eyes: Sky and icy blue hues
Pelt: Mixture of the colors white, light brown, and soft red
More?||
Personality: Very cheerful and sweet, she is always happy to meet new ones and has a gentle smile on her face almost all the time. She is a gentle soul, her tolerance is high like her brother and she has that maternal nature about her. However, at the same time, the fae is quite innocent still and somewhat naive on somethings. She knows and understands the evil and wrong of the world but yet, her persona is not dampened. The reason why she can be so up and positive is probably because of her older brother, he does a lot so that she can always be at ease. Shoka is the generic happy type with a gentle soul and a warm heart. Her mind does not yearn for the battle field, battle shed, or death like some others out there. To her, battling does not have many good out comes as it does consequences. A large reason why she stays as far as she can be from those situations, it just something that she was never suited for. Truthfully, the female wishes for peace and buoyant times but she knows that it will be rare for that to happen, especially with those who crave blood and only see combat as answer.
Likes:
- Any nice weather ((so soft snow falling, misty mornings, pitter patter of rain, the warm sunny rays, etc.))
- Life
- Happy peaceful times
Dislikes:
- Death
- Wars
- Killers
Strengths:
- Speed
- Gracefulness
- Ability to find the good in another
- Thoughtful
Weaknesses:
- Blood
- Being targeted/cornered
- A non-battle strategic mind ((her mind does not work the same as a wolf that enters the sparring ring often, so she does not see the sneaky traps/plans, sometimes. Anything obvious she can.))
History: John has always been there for her, ever since she could open her eyes wide. He told her of her mother and father, how they were leaders of a small pack, and of course how much they loved her. She, however, barely knew them still, she remembers their touch and nuzzles, but something still kept her from being close to them like her older brother. Her brother had also told her about her other siblings before her, but again she did not feel close to them as she had never met them. That memory was even less than about her parents, only John was the vibrant grown up and sibling memory she has.
Shoka has only had one real traumatizing incident in her life, she was a pup back then and she was alone. Her brother had brought food but then left, the sun was setting and the sun creatures scurried back into their homes as the twilight brought out the next set of life. Her ears had twitched as she heard sounds echoing from beyond the trees, steps of a medium sized animal. Could it be, is what she thought as her head peaked from the hole of an entrance. The sounds were a trick as a pack of hungry and desperate wolves emerged from the darks of the over bearing plants. Her heart was beating fast as they looked at her with a ravenous look in their eyes; they closed in as she stood frozen at the opening of the den. The vocals strained for a quiet moment as the voracious males closed in before their strike, Shoka yelped, yelled, shrieked for her brother. “John!” They were her first words and as it would seem her last as well. Her sky and clear blue pool like eyes shut tight as one of predator’s muscles rippled, preparing to feel pain, loss of blood, something… The pup opened her eyes slightly as her pinnae caught the sounds of growls, snaps, and yelps. She saw a shadow male attacking the rest; he fought, attacking with speed and power. His teeth bared once but the rest did not take heed to his warning and went on to attack him. Shoka watched in terror and fear as the males fought, blood was flung against the soft brown bark of the closest trees, and the last howl of one mirrored throughout the forest. The fight was finally over but yet she could not stop shaking, her legs felt like jello as her eyes could not be taken away from the soiled ground with carcass. It seemed like a long moment before the dark pelted creature came to her, nuzzling her within his warmth, and took her away from it all. “As long as I am breathing, I will always be here. I promise.” His voice was calmly as she closed her eyes, could he see it? The fear in her eyes, mind, and heart. Her fear of losing him, since to her, he was the only thing she knew and was a part of. Maybe he did, either way, Shoka was grateful to have him as a brother.
Nothing bad happened to her after that, John was always looking out for her best interests as well as protecting her. They would move more than often but that was just to catch their meals, though she began to feel empty without a home. However, the thought never went from mind to her voice, the fae was almost afraid he would automatically reject her idea. She finally got the courage to speak up about it and he agreed with her. Shoka was happy that they would finally find a place to settle, the last place they stayed at with high up and before they left, she noticed that John was on the high cliffs. He wouldn’t tell her what he was really doing up there, but she decided not pry either. ‘Soon,’ she thought with glee, ‘soon we’ll have a place to run, eat, and sleep without having to move.’
